Mr. Freshley is an entrepreneur and company builder with over 20 years of experience developing start-up and emerging bioscience companies.  His expertise in early-stage science commercialization has led to the development and funding for multiple companies over those years. 

In his talk, he will discuss the challenges that venture capitalists face and how understanding their business and its problems can help academic start-ups figure out how to partner with VCs more effectively, not just pitch to them.
