Melissa Rogers, LVT, rLATG - Scientific Project Lead
Melissa has 17 years of experience in laboratory animal medicine and brings a hands-on animal techniques and training focus to the MSU In-Vivo Facility. After graduating from Michigan State University with a BS in Veterinary Technology, she worked at a large animal clinic before entering laboratory animal medicine at the University of Michigan. Most recently, she was the Senior Training Specialist in the ULAM Training Core where she specialized in regulatory training of research staff. Her interests include rodent surgery, in vivo studies, and training research staff on laboratory animal techniques and safety.
